Best wishes for 2013 from all at Galgate Show. This year’s show will be on August 17 and we move into the new Ellel Village Hall. As ever donations and volunteers are in much demand so any help you can give us will be appreciated. Schedules will be available later this year but there will now be regular updates on this website. When you plan your gardens and projects for the coming spring and summer, remember to include some entries for us too. Here’s hoping we get a better growing year in 2013!

A huge thank you to all the volunteers, exhibitors and visitors who made our Show this year such a success on the day. We could not have done it without you! We would also like to thank Blackpool Beekeepers, Mark Blundell (of the new village youth club) and Lancashire Police who all provided stands at the show and were much appreciated by visitors.

Photos of the show and details of the trophy winners should also appear in the Lancaster Guardian in the coming weeks.

We hope everyone enjoyed their day and we look forward to seeing everyone again next year. The likely date for your diaries is 17 August 2013 although this will be confirmed on this website in the next few months.
